Effective date: 5 March 2026 • Last updated: 5 March 2026

Version

Version: 2026-03-13. This version reflects marketplace, Panels, LabourLynx, public trader profiles, telephony dispatch, verification, preference-aware routing, property history products, messaging moderation, support, and payment workflows currently active on Tradelynx.

1. About These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Tradelynx platform, website, and related services (together, the "Service"). By using Tradelynx, you agree to these Terms.

Tradelynx is operated by Tradelynx Limited ("Tradelynx", "we", "us", "our"), a business registered in England and Wales with registered office at 2 Hayling Close, Fareham, Hampshire, PO14 3AE.

2. What Tradelynx Does

Tradelynx connects customers with local traders, facilitates enquiry routing, messaging, job progression, and related support workflows.

Tradelynx does not itself perform trade work. Any contract for services, works, or materials is made directly between the customer and the trader unless expressly stated otherwise.

Tradelynx may provide telephony routing, masked call flows, and in-platform messaging to coordinate work. Platform tools are operational services and do not change the underlying contract position above.

Tradelynx also operates property-history and report products, public trader profile pages, and area listing pages. Access to those products is controlled by account type, entitlement, and privacy rules.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements to use the Service.

You are responsible for:

  • maintaining accurate account information
  • keeping login codes and account access secure
  • all activity under your account unless caused by our fault

4. Customer Terms

Customers may submit enquiries, communicate with traders, and manage job updates through the Service.

Customers agree not to submit false, abusive, unlawful, or misleading enquiries, and not to misuse the messaging or support systems.

Where customer forms collect property, access, pet, urgency, schedule, or safety information, customers must provide accurate details. Routing outcomes depend on the information provided.

5. Trader Terms

Traders are responsible for ensuring they hold and maintain all licences, insurance, certifications, and permissions required for the services they offer.

Traders must provide accurate information during sign-up and comply with any verification and document renewal requirements we request.

Where lead credits, subscriptions, or promotional offers are provided, they are subject to these Terms and any additional pricing or promotion terms shown at the point of purchase or claim.

Marketplace traders must complete required verification steps (identity/liveness/address and account checks) before becoming eligible for routing or acceptance workflows, except where an explicit documented test bypass is granted by admin controls.

For trader sign-up and platform use, the fee/payment rules in Section 9 and the messaging/contact-sharing rules in Section 6 are incorporated into these trader terms by reference.

Traders are responsible for keeping service areas, work preferences, pet preferences, and availability settings accurate. Tradelynx may use these settings in automated routing, ranking, filtering, and eligibility decisions.

Traders who enable public profiles agree that approved profile fields may be published on indexable public pages, subject to platform privacy controls and moderation.

6. Lead Offers, Jobs, and Messaging

A lead offer does not guarantee a job. A job is formed only when the relevant parties agree to proceed.

Tradelynx may provide messaging tools for convenience and record-keeping. Users must not use the messaging system for unlawful, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or fraudulent communications.

Users must not attempt to bypass contact controls or take negotiations off-platform before lead acceptance where platform policy restricts contact disclosure.

Tradelynx may apply moderation, anti-bypass, and policy-enforcement controls to messages, profile content, and communication flows, including warnings, temporary restrictions, and account actions.

7. Routing, Matching, and Dispatch

Tradelynx uses rule-based and automated matching workflows for dispatch and lead offers, including (where enabled) trade compatibility, verification status, postcode/service-area coverage, work preferences, urgency, capacity, wallet balance, quality/reliability signals, and fairness/round-robin mechanisms.

Routing results are operational decisions and are not a guarantee of lead volume, job value, conversion rate, speed of assignment, or trader selection outcome.

We may change routing logic, weighting, dispatch order, and eligibility criteria prospectively to improve safety, quality, fairness, fraud prevention, or platform performance.

8. LabourLynx (Paid add-on) and Temporary Staffing

LabourLynx (Paid add-on) provides a staffing marketplace workflow to help traders find labourers, apprentices, mates, improvers, and support workers for specific dates. Tradelynx is not the employer, agency payroll provider, or principal contractor for these engagements.

Traders are solely responsible for:

  • agreeing commercial terms and paying workers directly
  • validating qualifications, competence, and suitability for site tasks
  • carrying out right-to-work checks and any legal onboarding checks
  • meeting health and safety, supervision, insurance, and subcontractor obligations

9. Fees, Credits, Wallets, and Promotions

Trader pricing, credits, and any promotional offers (including limited availability offers) are subject to the pricing displayed by Tradelynx and any promotion-specific conditions.

Lead pricing may vary by trade and product context. Credits purchased or allocated for one trade wallet may be subject to conversion rules if transferred between trade wallets.

Credits are consumed on accepted lead workflows (as shown in-product). On job completion, a platform completion fee may apply: 2% of final job value, with a £2 minimum (whichever is higher), with eligible launch waivers where clearly stated.

Completion fee charging attempts may be processed via stored payment methods or invoice flow and are logged for audit and reconciliation.

We may change pricing prospectively. Changes will not affect purchases already completed, except where required by law or where a clear error has occurred.

Some products and plans (including Panels, LabourLynx passes, and property-history subscriptions) are recurring or time-limited access services and are governed by the plan terms shown at checkout.

10. Property History and Paid Reports

Tradelynx Property History products may include searchable property records, maintenance timelines, and paid report access tiers. Access is entitlement-based and may be one-off, subscription-based, owner-authorized, or admin-controlled.

Property-history outputs are informational and provided on a best-effort basis from available platform and source data. They are not a legal title record, structural survey, valuation, conveyancing advice, or guarantee of completeness.

We may redact, suppress, or limit entries and report fields to meet privacy, safety, moderation, legal, or data quality requirements.

11. Public Profiles and Indexable Pages

Tradelynx may publish indexable pages for approved trader profiles and location/trade listings. Public pages are intended for trust and discovery and exclude restricted contact/personal data by design.

Tradelynx may edit, override, disable, or remove public profile elements where needed for safety, legal, quality, anti-bypass, or policy-compliance reasons.

12. Acceptable Use

You must not:

  • use the Service for unlawful or fraudulent purposes
  • attempt to bypass platform security, access controls, or rate limits
  • upload malicious files, malware, or harmful code
  • harass, threaten, or abuse customers, traders, staff, or support
  • scrape or copy platform data without permission

13. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service where we reasonably believe these Terms, applicable laws, or platform safety requirements have been breached.

We may also suspend trader access for compliance, verification, safety, payment, or fraud-prevention reasons.

14. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, subject to applicable law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that every enquiry will result in a response or job.

We do not guarantee the quality, legality, suitability, or outcomes of services performed by traders.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tradelynx shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunity.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.

16. Intellectual Property

Tradelynx and its licensors retain all rights in the Service, branding, software, and content (excluding user content). You may not copy, reverse engineer, or create derivative works except as permitted by law.

17. Privacy and Data Handling

Our use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy and related policies, including our Data Retention Policy.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users (for example, through the Service or by email).

19. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction unless otherwise required by consumer law.
